Seminar on "Preparing Children for the Future" in Partnership between ACCD and the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Universities
ACCD, in partnership with the Committee of Childhood Studies and Kindergarten Sector affiliated to the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities, has organized a scientific Seminar entitled "Preparing Children for the Future" on Thursday, 24th November 2016 in Cairo, with the participation of a number of experts and researchers in the fields of childhood, as well as kindergarten teachers and supervisors in the Egyptian Ministry of Education, as well as representatives of the relevant institutions and media.
The Seminar discussed a number of research papers on the upbringing of children on the culture of tolerance, as well as topics of malnutrition and its impact on the psychological development of children, readiness for school and human capital, preparation of children for the future and the objective indicators of the quality of psychological life for the future of children with special needs. The Seminar has also reviewed a number of experiences and efforts "towards a new model for upbringing Arab children" by ACCD, in addition to the Egyptian-Japanese experience and its impact on children preparation for the future, as implemented by the Ministry of Education in Egypt, along with representing the efforts exerted by the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood in the field of early childhood.
This Seminar has been held in the context of ACCD's membership in the Committee of Childhood Studies and Kindergarten Sector affiliated to the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities, which includes deans of faculties and kindergartens departments in Egyptian universities and a number of relevant institutions and experts in the field.
